Soon it will be time, and in the heart of the Erzgebirge we will open the doors of our “Glück Auf – Der Erlebnispark”. The emerging leisure and recreation facility in Markersbach invites the whole family to enjoy multimedia-free play indoors—and eventually outdoors as well. The park’s unique play environment is dedicated to developing motor skills, enhancing logical thinking, and simply celebrating the fun and joy of children from toddler age onward. In this, the Erzgebirge plays a pivotal role. In addition to creative elements, traditional handcrafted folk art and much more will be offered in our in-house shop.

We also invite our visitors to discover and enjoy our homeland through its culinary offerings.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations and ensure a smooth workflow
  • Coordinate tasks, including creating and designing a creative menu in line with the company’s concept
  • Monitor the proper preparation of all dishes
  • Schedule, lead, guide, and motivate the kitchen team
  • Manage cost calculations and purchasing of goods with the support of the kitchen team
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene and safety measures (HACCP)
  • Serve as the “culinary face of the house” by continuously engaging with guests

 

Requirements:

  • Completed vocational training as a chef
  • Further training as a Küchenmeister is an advantage
  • Relevant professional experience in gastronomy or large-scale kitchen environments
  • Extensive leadership experience is desirable
  • Experience in dish cost calculation, using inventory management systems, and implementing hygiene and safety measures (HACCP)
  • A confident, decisive, and communicative demeanor
  • Strong team spirit
  • High service orientation towards guests of all ages
  • A strong commitment to quality
