It will soon be time—in the heart of the Erzgebirge, we will open the doors of our “Glück Auf – Der Erlebnispark”. The soon-to-be-established leisure and recreation facility in Markersbach invites the whole family to enjoy multimedia-free play indoors—and eventually outdoors as well. The park’s unique play environment is dedicated to developing motor skills, enhancing logical thinking, and simply celebrating the fun and joy of children from toddler age onward. In this, the Erzgebirge plays a pivotal role. In addition to creative elements, traditional handcrafted folk art and much more will be offered in our in-house shop. We also want to invite our visitors to discover and enjoy our home region through its culinary offerings.

To make all this possible, we are looking for motivated and responsible employees who dream of helping to create something new and thereby enrich the Erzgebirge with a tourist attraction. Permanent employment contract
Predictable working hours
Weekend work with additional pay for work on Sundays and public holidays
Core operating hours: 9:00 to 18:00

Your Responsibilities:

Plate the dishes according to specifications, including attractive garnishing
Plan and execute your own station tasks
Manage ordering and purchasing
Control the quantity and quality of food items in cooperation with the head chef
Ensure cleanliness and adherence to hygiene standards throughout the entire kitchen
Monitor proper storage of goods and verify correct inventory management, including the required documentation

Requirements:

Completed vocational training as a chef
Professional experience in the gastronomy sector or in large-scale kitchen operations is desirable
A collegial and very friendly demeanor towards both adult and young guests
A strong commitment to quality
